Что такое Cartesi?
Cartesi - проект, который предлагает использовать инфраструктуру Linux для масштабируемых децентрализованных приложений (DApps), ведь на данный момент, даже при наличии огромного количества разнообразных блокчейн проектов, главной проблемой остается вопрос масштабируемости сети и отсутствия в ней функционала для разработчиков. Еще одна особенность Cartesi в том, что DApps здесь гибридные, то есть они включают в себя как блокчейн, так и другие сторонние компоненты (на данный момент - мощности Cartesi Machines). 

Технологическая составляющая
Cartesi Machines (вычислительные мощности Cartesi) - полностью автономная система на операционной системе Linux, которая работает на детерминированной RISC-V архитектуре, где узлы мгновенно взаимодействуют с мощностями Cartesi
посредством быстрого определения хост-интерфейса. Расчетная стоимость в этой системе - это только определенный алгоритм хранения и времени, необходимого для расчета определенной задачи, система никогда не будет тратить на обработку заданий времени и усилий больше, чем это необходимо в каждом индивидуальном случае.

Таким образом, Cartesi практически устраняет разрыв в мощности и вычислениями между смарт-контрактами и традиционными компьютерными системами, ведь из-за уникального решения команды Cartesi, разработчики смогут решать практически все задачи, при этом не обращая внимания на ограничения, которые накладывает технология  блокчейн, ведь разработчики оставили только самые необходимые функции только для формирования консенсуса в сети.


Токен CTSI
Для монетизации проекта, разработчики выпустили токен на базе блокчейна Ethereum (ERC-20) - CTSI. Общая эмиссия CTSI - 1 миллиард токенов. Команда разработчиков поставила четкую цифру для хардкапа - 5 миллионов долларов США.

И так, разработчики начали свой путь в далеком 2017 году, когда описали основные технологические элементы  и начали писать Whitepaper, в 2018 году протестировали основные компоненты в демо версии. Что сейчас?  Уже в начале 2020 года, разработчики планируют запустить первую игру в сети Cartesi, которая станет в итоге первым DApps приложением проекта. А немного позже, но тоже в первом квартале 2020 года, будет готов набор средств для разработчиков SDK, во втором квартале планируют запуск Testnet. Запуск основной сети запланирован в четвертом квартале 2020 года.

But no matter how blockchain technology seems innovative and omnipotent, it still has a stumbling block that does not allow it to quickly scale and act as a solid environment for the development of new infrastructure solutions. What symbolizes a lot of things that pop up during the work and growth of each individual blockchain system. Which, when confirming the mechanisms of consensus, each participant in the network spends too much time on this operation.
And this despite the fact that this structure is not yet used universally. Thus, we see that to eliminate these problems we need new tools that allow us not only to eliminate the existing aspect in a qualitative way, but also to be as reliable and safe as possible. It is about this decision that I want to tell you today.

About the project and its features
And this solution is called CarteSi . If to be more precise, CarteSi is a project with a full range of solutions, acting as a platform thanks to which developers of new Dapps applications will be able to solve just two of the most striking and common blockchain problems in the world at the moment.
To achieve all the above stated aspects CarteSi helps hybrid infrastructure that uses Linux and other components of the decentralized chain. Which also includes built-in CarteSi machines, as well as nodes that allow you to run large-scale computing with each new Dapps development.
Since it is precisely this kind of association that helps to make good use of well-developed new technologies with well-known and understandable algorithms, programming languages, as well as all related tools and libraries that you may need at any time when creating a new Dapps application.

Benefits
The use of such tools allows you to create new portable components for all Dapps that can simultaneously exist both inside and outside the Blockchain chain. Thanks to this, developers of new Dapps applications will be able to free themselves from the complex logistics, idiosyncrasy and other restrictions inherent in the blockchain. Review CARTESI — BRINGS REAL WORLD COMPUTATIONS TO THE BLOCKCHAIN

Introducing CARTESI:

As new applications for blockchain technology are envisioned, the demands on the underlying infrastructure are constantly increasing. At the moment, the two major obstacles to widespread adoption of blockchain technology are its poor scalability and lack of a solid development environment. The main contribution of Cartesi to the blockchain ecosystem is overcoming both these issues.
This article I will introduce you about Cartesi, a layer-2 platform for the development and deployment of scalable decentralized applications. Cartesi DApps are hybrid, i.e., they include both blockchain and off-chain components. The off-chain component runs in a network of Cartesi Nodes, each representing the interests of a DApp user. The off-chain component is further divided into two modalities. Native computations run directly in the host hardware. Although native computations have access to the node’s full processing power (including GPUs), the computations are not reproducible, at least not a pri1 Version 1.01 ori. Reproducible computations run instead inside Cartesi Machines that are controlled by the Cartesi Node. These are general, fully self-contained Linux systems, that run on a deterministic RISC-V architecture . Nodes interact with Cartesi Machines by means of a well-defined host interface .

How Cartesi Can Help Change the World?

Moving computations off-chain brings several advantages beyond scalability. Cartesi Machines enable DApp developers to use all the programming languages, tools, libraries, software, and services they are already familiar with. Moreover, the way in which computations are formulated is agnostic to the underlying blockchain. By isolating all the complex smart-contract logic into reproducible off-chain computations, developers can make their DApps more portable across different blockchains

Cartesi Machines off-chain:

Off-chain implementations of Cartesi Machines serve two purposes. Their main role is the execution of the computation itself. The secondary role is supporting the settlement of disputes over the results of computations. To provide these services, off-chain implementations of Cartesi Machines must expose a programmable interface.

CARTESI in Future:

The focus of this document on the core functionality, and on the interfaces DApps use to directly specify, control, and verify off-chain computations. The Cartesi platform will offer several additional components built over the core, or extending its reach. These will be described in more detail in future publications

With my little experience in the cryptocurrency, getting involved in a worthy project like this in its early stage only comes once in a while because the industry is now diluted with lots of crappy projects, however CARTESI is exceptional because its already live and on-boarding new clients.
